EBI: A few careless errors e.g. Q1 on denotation (read the questions carefully and proof read your work. Even more GLOW needed for top marks.

One of my stronger questions was question 5 as i understood the question well and knew what the effect on the reader would be using mise-en-scene.

One of my weaker questions would be question 3 as i didn't use as much media terminology as i could've, next time i will use more. 

12 MARK REDO:

I can see that this is a perfume advert aimed at women. Red bold text is used to create traction from others wanting to buy perfume.  A packed shot of the perfume is used on the bottom right as the viewers eyes look that direction as it grabs attention because it contrasts with the dark red background.

I can connotate this image with romance as red is usually paired up with love. The text at the top says 'heat' which could mean that this fragrance could have something to do with hell as it is connoted with deep red colours. The silky red dress she is wearing could mean that she may be trying to promote her perfume as luxurious.

In conclusion this image relates to romance in my opinion as red can be connoted as love which could signify a heart. Her facial expression is seen as seductive and provocative which could also connote something about romance.
